There is approximately 16 000 pupils in the 9-year comprehensive school. In the year 2000 92,2% and 2001 90,22% of the young people age 16 continued after the 9-years comprehensive school in an other education or work. For the ”drop-out” young people (approx. 10%) special employment and support services are provided.
