|Communication and Visibility|
The communication of the Association was strongly developed in 2007 when the visual outlook was renewed. The challenges in the future are systematic communication and analysing the target groups. Visibility of Healthy Cities and the activities of the Association at the local level in Turku/Finland and in the network cities in the region have to be increased. The Association aims at better visibility of its activities.
This work is planned to be executed by making a Finnish version of the brochure of the Association, preparing posters both in English and Finnish and continuous updating of the websites. WHO materials of the Phase IV evaluation and Phase V requirements will also be translated in the main languages in the region.
Various new channels for the communication are explored: collaboration with the communication units of the member organisation will be increased and journals/newspapers as well as journalists are approached at an individual level. The traditional channels of targeted e-mails, and e-newsletters will continue
